Good Shepherd Lutheran Church

I am honored to be the pastor to this wonderful school, and I am also a school parent. Our daughter has been attending GSLS since she was two years old. Long before I became the pastor to the church and school, GSLS was a central part of my family life.  I love and value the academic standards, community, parent connectedness, and extracurricular activities.  I have witnessed many students and families enter our school and immediately feel connected and thrive.

I am ordained as a Presbyterian minister now serving a Lutheran church and I am sure there is a joke in there somewhere!  I have pastored churches in Marin, Washington D.C., Oakland and Ukiah, CA.  My wife, daughter, son and dog happily call Novato our home.  We are raising our children in a fast paced, rapidly changing world.  One of my favorite quotes, and I am reminded of this on a daily basis, “We cannot direct the wind, but we can adjust our sails.”
